Job summary

Norton Rose Fulbright Canada is seeking a Temporary In office Part-Time Reception and Catering Assistant to welcome clients, prepare and set up catering for meetings, and maintain conference spaces. This role blends hospitality with administrative support in a busy legal practice. Availability Tue-Thu 7:30 a.m.

Qualifications

  • Experience or knowledge in customer service and hospitality/catering services.
  • Strong interest in delivering exceptional service and creating an outstanding client experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the firm, as well as with clients and guests.
  • Solution-oriented approach, with the ability to anticipate clients' needs.
  • Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and reservation management system.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items.
  • Flexibility to adjust work schedules based on planned events; early morning, evening.

  • Coordinate and place food and beverage orders for internal and external meetings.
  • Assist with inventory management to ensure adequate supplies and provisions are available for meeting rooms.
  • Provide reception coverage during receptionists' breaks and lunch periods.
