Giant Tiger is seeking a Category Partner for Men's Accessories & Footwear in Laval. The role is hybrid with onsite work at the Laval Buying Office two days per week (Wed & Thu) and additional days as needed.

You will execute category plans, coordinate cross-functional activities, and monitor performance to drive commercial decisions. Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in corporate retail merchandising or buying, strong initiative, and solid MS Office skills.

• 2-4 years of corporate retail merchandising or retail buying experience.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Understanding of retail mathematics related to sales, profitability/inventory.
• Able to communicate effectively and influence positively without authority.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office suite of products.

Responsabilités

• Execute assigned category and assortment activities within approved plans to support accurate and timely category implementation.
• Coordinate cross-functional execution of category activities by aligning timelines, information and dependencies and resolving routine execution issues.
• Monitor category performance and prepare analysis on sales, margin, inventory, promotions, and market trends to support commercial decision-making.
• Identify and make recommendations on risks and opportunities in inventory performance and Open-to-Buy (OTB) activities by maintaining accurate reporting.
• Lead promotional and assortment activities for assigned products to ensure product information, systems, and communications accurately reflect category plans.
• Coordinate day-to-day vendor activities for assigned products, resolving routine execution issues within established parameters and escalating commercial, cost or delivery risks to the Buyer.

Workplace Arrangements:

What You’ll Be Doing:

What You’ll Bring:

$66,000.00 - $99,000.00

Short Term Incentive Plan

Bonus - Short-Term Incentive Plan, 10% Annual

Retirement Support

Bonus - Deferred Profit-Sharing Plan (DPSP), 6% Annual
