Crafted Highlights :

As a Category Executive, you will play a key role within the Marketing Activation and Customer Solutions team.

You will develop critical insights and solutions for your assigned chain account(s) to grow the size and value of the customer’s beer category, capturing a disproportionate share of growth. Your main focus is to deliver an optimal growth plan that aligns with the portfolio and brand strategies, customer objectives, and volume/financial commitments.

This position reports to the Sr. Customer Solutions Manager and is based in Toronto.

What You’ll Be Brewing :

  1. Identify insights and emerging business opportunities through analysis of the perfect store pillars, including category reviews, shelf space allocation, assortment strategies, and adjacency recommendations of planograms.
  2. Develop comprehensive category reviews by integrating data from sources like Nielsen, Retailer POS, and others, establishing yourself as a trusted category expert for assigned retailers.
  3. Incorporate consumer and shopper insights and behaviors into your analysis, synthesizing all insights into compelling selling stories, category, and business reviews.
  4. Collaborate with account teams on sales call approaches and plans. Enhance the use of analytics and insights within the Customer Sales team for your assigned retailers.
  5. Assist in developing planogram concepts for retailers.
  6. Conduct post-program analyses to evaluate successes and recommend improvements.
  7. Require 3+ years of progressive experience in category management, data analysis, consumer research, statistics, or sales within the CPG industry.
  8. Possess a bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
  9. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  10. Knowledge of tools like JDA / Blue Yonder Space Planning software and retailer POS systems is an asset.
  11. Demonstrate a love for challenges, completing complex projects efficiently while understanding business priorities.
  12. Build relationships and collaborate effectively to achieve desired outcomes.
  13. Take accountability for results, acting with integrity and honoring commitments.

Pay and Benefits :

Our total rewards include a salary range of $100,400.00 - $131,800.00, plus a 13% target short-term incentive, and approximately $11,000 annually spent on benefits such as health, dental, vision, retirement with employer match, wellness incentives, and EAP. Paid time off includes holidays, vacation, and sick days.
