About the Role:

Apex Systems is seeking a Catalog Analyst to join the Selection and Quality Operations team at a major eCommerce marketplace. In this role, you will support the maintenance and quality of a large grocery eCommerce platform's catalog. Your key responsibilities will include working on data curation, labeling, and annotation, with a focus on improving the quality and accuracy of product attributes.

This role requires attention to detail and experience with large data sets, as well as familiarity with the food/beverage or eCommerce content industry. If you're a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, this could be an excellent opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Labeling & Annotation: Curate high-quality catalog data through projects and ad-hoc requests.
  • Product Attribute Verification: Verify and improve the quality of product attributes (e.g., organic) by investigating various data sources.
  • Data Quality Workflows: Review data results for accuracy and standardize product brand variations through internal and external research.
  • LLM Prompt Management: Manage prompts for catalog-related workflows to ensure high-quality output, leveraging iterative feedback for improvements.
  • Collaboration & Research: Work closely with teams to ensure that the catalog maintains high standards and that data is accurate.
Key Qualifications:
  • Data Curation: Experience in data labeling, annotation, and managing large data sets.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on ensuring data accuracy and high-quality catalog maintenance.
  • Experience with Data Auditing & QA: Comfortable reviewing data and performing quality assurance tasks.
  • LLM & Workflow Management: Experience in managing and refining data prompts or workflows with feedback to improve output.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Excel and some knowledge of SQL or other programming languages is beneficial.
  • Fast-Paced & Autonomous: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently.
  • Adaptability: Ability to quickly learn new tools and processes.
  • Strong Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills, able to collaborate effectively within teams.
