Job summary

Ledcor is seeking an experienced Haul Truck Operator to support winter operations at Fort MacKay, AB. The role focuses on safe operation of CAT 777 haul trucks, site reclamation, and hauling materials across haul roads while adhering to procedures.

You will work 12-hour shifts with day/night rotation, camp accommodations, and weekly wage payments. A strong safety mindset and reliable attendance are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CAT 777, 785 or 789 on heavy equipment.
• Experience in road construction, reclamation or mining preferred.
• High safety awareness and adherence to site rules.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to work day and night shifts.
• Must complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing.
• CSTS 09, CSO or OSSA BSO certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CAT 777 haul trucks for haul road building and reclamation site.
• Haul and dump materials such as overburden, rock, gravel and other site materials.
• Complete pre-operational inspections and report mechanical or safety concerns.
• Follow designated haul routes, traffic controls, and site procedures.
• Maintain Ledcor’s high standards for safety, quality, and productivity.
