Job summary

Ledcor Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Haul Truck Operator for the Fort MacKay, AB project. The role involves operating CAT 777 trucks, hauling materials, and adhering to site safety and procedures on a 14 days on/7 days off rotation with day and night shifts in a camp environment.

Camp accommodations are provided along with travel allowance and Ledcor’s health and wellness benefits. Pre-employment drug testing and safety certifications are required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CAT 777, 785, or 789 preferred.
• Background in road building, reclamation or mining highly valued.
• Strong awareness of workplace safety and equipment hazards.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Able to work day and night shifts.
• Must complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing.
• CSTS 09, CSO or OSSA BSO certifications preferred.

• Haul and dump materials such as overburden, rock, gravel and site materials.
• Conduct pre-operational inspections and report safety or mechanical concerns.

Are you an experienced Haul Truck Operator looking for reliable work throughout the winter season? Ledcor is seeking experienced and safety-focused CAT 777 Haul Truck Operators join our team at CNRL Albian Reclamation project in Fort MacKay, AB. If you prioritize safety, take pride in quality work, we'd like to hear from you.

Essential Responsibilities

• Operate CAT 777 Haul trucks for haul road building and reclamation site
• Haul and dump materials such as overburden, rock, gravel and other site materials
• Complete pre-operational inspections and report mechanical or safety concern
• Follow designated haul routes, traffic controls, and site procedures
• Maintain Ledcor's high standards for safety, quality, and productivity

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience operating CAT 777, 785 or 789
• Previous experience in road building, reclamation work or mining are highly preferred
• Strong awareness of workplace safety and equipment hazards
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Must be available for day / night shifts
• Successful completion of pre-Access drug and alcohol testing
• CSTS 09, Common Safety Orientation (CSO) or OSSA Basic Safety Orientation (BSO)
