Job summary

Hillside Pines in Canada is seeking a reliable Housekeeping & Laundry Care Partner to keep Elder's rooms and common areas clean and well-maintained. The role includes laundry tasks and inventory management to support a clean, safe living environment.

The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting, and good basic math, reading, and communication skills. Prior experience is preferred but training will be provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of housekeeping or laundry experience, or willingness to train.

Responsibilities

• Clean Elder's rooms and common areas, including dusting, mopping, scrubbing, collecting & washing linens.
• Perform tasks such as laundry and inventory management.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate team members.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.

The Housekeeping & Laundry Care Partner will be responsible for cleaning Elder's rooms, common areas, and other areas of the facility, as well as performing tasks such as laundry and inventory management. The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience or knowledge of The Eden Alternative approach to person centered care would be an asset.

Responsibilities:

• Clean Elder's rooms and common areas, including, but not limited to; dusting, mopping, scrubbing, collecting & washing linens
