Job description

Kanata Montessori is a dynamic, leading edge, independent school that has been demonstrating excellence in education since 1974. Position: Casual Supply Staff

Kanata Montessori is seeking candidates to fill their casual supply staff list for their Main Campus, located at 355 Michael Cowpland Drive, and for their North Campus, located at 630 Cameron Harvey Drive.

The ideal candidates would be flexible, energetic, engaging, adaptable and reliable. He/she will have good communication skills in order to effectively communicate with parents, staff, and students as well as the ability to use tact, discretion and good judgment. These individuals are capable of working with minimum supervision within a multicultural environment and can respect and work with a diverse range of children and families of all backgrounds and abilities.

The successful candidates would be available to work, on an on-call basis, from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, with students ranging from Toddler through Elementary. A minimum of one (1) year of childcare experience is preferred and registration with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators would be an asset.

All successful applicants are required to have a current Police Vulnerable Sector Check dated within the last six months, up-to-date immunizations, a doctor's health assessment and a valid Standard First Aid & CPR C/AED certification prior to employment.
