Job Skills / Requirements

• Position: Casual Security Guard
• Site: Belleville General Hospital, Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital, Trenton Memorial Hospital, North Hastings Hospital
• City: Belleville, Ontario
• Hours: Various shifts between 0800-2000, 2000-0800, 2100-0500, 1600-0000
• Pay Rate: $15.50-$18.57/hour

As a Security Guard in a healthcare environment, you will be responsible for completing investigations and incident reports, performing patrols, and interacting with the public to ensure safety and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced, flexible environment maintaining professionalism
• Utilize strong interpersonal skills and provide excellent customer service
• Remain calm and effective in emergency situations
• Follow specific instructions and procedures
• Write reports and take notes

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Valid First Aid & CPR Level C Certificate
• Proof of double COVID-19 vaccination and immunization records
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Own a vehicle in good repair and possess a valid G or G2 driver's license
• Able to pass N95 Mask Fit Test (must be clean shaven)
• Previous security or healthcare security experience preferred
• Compassion, empathy, and interest in healthcare
• Availability to attend in-class training at our Kingston branch
