Qualifications

• Diploma in Practical Nursing and current RPN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Experience caring for seniors in living or long-term care settings.
• CPR and Emergency First Aid certification, clear background check with vulnerable sector screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessment of residents' needs and develop care profiles.
• Administer medications and treatments per facility policies and standards.
• Support department operations including staffing, equipment, and supply management.
• Direct and evaluate work of personal support attendants.
• Orient residents, families and nursing staff and document incidents promptly.
• Promote safety culture and comply with ethics codes and safety practices.
