Job summary

Thrive Group is hiring Casual Registered Practical Nurses to join our AbleLiving Services teams at the transitional care bed program in Hagersville (Anson Place).

RPNs will monitor client health, provide nursing care within scope, and ensure safety for residents, staff and visitors. Shifts include rotating days and nights, 12 hours long, in a supportive, non-profit setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of a vocational, college or other approved program for licensed practical nurses and registration with a regulatory body required.
• Must have successfully completed the Canadian Practical Nurses Registration Examination and possess a current Registered Nursing Certificate of Competence for the Province of Ontario.
• Knowledge of Behaviour Strategies is an asset.
• Experience as an RPN working with persons with a disability and the senior population is an asset.
• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

We are currently hiring Casual Registered Practical Nurse's to join our AbleLiving Services teams at our transitional care bed program located in Hagersville! This program operates out of Anson Place.

AbleLiving Services is a non-profit organization providing personal support services to adults with disabilities living within their own home or one of our independent living facilities. Our clients direct and customize the services they receive and we support them to maximize their independence and enhance their quality of life. We provide services across the Golden Horseshoe in the Mississauga, Burlington, Stoney Creek and Hamilton communities.
