Job summary

ParaMed is seeking a Physiotherapist to provide community visits, assessing adult clients in homes or community settings. This casual, part-time role offers job sharing, and opportunities as salaried and independent contractor roles.

You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and equipment vendors to enable function, develop client-centered plans, document electronically, and maintain records per ParaMed standards. Mileage is compensated and scheduling is flexible.

Qualifications

  • Registration with the provincial College of Physiotherapists in good standing.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification (within past 12 months).
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Provide community physiotherapy visits to assess abilities and needs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and equipment vendors.
  • Develop client-centered plans and adjust services to reflect a client-centered approach.
  • Maintain professional records in compliance with ParaMed policies and regulatory standards.
  • Engage clients to build rapport and mutual understanding of services.
