Job summary

Clearpoint Health Network, Canada's largest trusted provider of independent surgical and multidisciplinary medical centers, is hiring casual physiotherapists through Canadian Surgery Solutions (CSS). Wage: $55/hr. Position: Casual.

The physiotherapist will provide direct patient care for assessment, planning, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of patient needs. Duties include daily treatment for extended stay orthopedic patients, organizing aids, and conducting discharge-ready exercise

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized physiotherapy program (BScPT).
• Current registration to practice physiotherapy in Alberta (CPTA).
• Experience as a physiotherapist in an orthopaedic setting or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate assessments and subsequent treatment for extended stay patients.
• Identify needs for aids such as crutches/walkers and organize provision.
• Provide exercise sessions and ensure appropriateness for discharge.
• Assess educational needs of patient, family and staff as a clinical resource.
• Maintain personal growth and ongoing education related to patient care.
