We are a Black-serving non-profit organization seeking a dedicated Midwifery Clinic Administrator to oversee daily operations at our clinic. Reporting to the Executive Director, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient office operations and delivering exceptional care to our clients. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to supporting compassionate, holistic midwifery clinic.
Key Responsibilities (not limited to):
Provide exceptional customer service as the primary point of contact for patients coming into the clinic
Manage appointments, coordinate midwife schedules, and maintain medical records
Oversee volunteer and co-op student training and supervision
Attend weekly practice meetings to contribute to clinic improvements
Manage financial tasks including accounts payable/receivable and bookkeeping
Assist in onboarding new hires, volunteers, and co-op students
Help with marketing efforts, including social media management and community relations
Qualifications:
Experience in healthcare or business administration preferred
Available for casual in-clinic support
Familiarity with EMR systems (Accuro EMR is an asset)
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
Knowledge of PHIPA regulations and patient confidentiality
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach
Experience with or within the Black community is valued
