Job summary

City of Grande Prairie is seeking a Fitness Instructor to plan, choreograph and lead engaging, safe, and balanced fitness classes in community gyms. You will tailor sessions to diverse abilities and ensure all participants are supported and challenged appropriately.

The role requires certification, liability coverage and CPR/First Aid, and availability for evenings and weekends. Successful candidates will demonstrate professionalism, strong customer service and the ability to adapt to varying

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Fitness Instructor Certification.
• Minimum 2 million liability insurance must be in place.
• Emergency First Aid CPR/AED certification required.

You Bring

• Valid Fitness Instructor Certification
• Minimum 2 million Liability Insurance
• Emergency First Aid CPR/AED Certification (renewed yearly as required by Certification)

Hours

Must be available to work on evenings and weekends.

Salary/Wage

The rate of pay is in accordance with the CUPE Collective agreement, Fitness Instructor III, and will be $40.26 per hour.
