Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board is recruiting Educational Assistants for daily casual work across all schools. Short- and long-term contracts may be available once you are accepted to our Casual EA List.

Qualifications include completion of a post-secondary program such as Educational Support Worker or Educational Assistant Certificate, Early Childhood Education, or related fields. A vulnerable sector check valid within 6 months is required.

Competenze

• Completion of a post-secondary education program as listed above.
• Vulnerable sector check valid within 6 months from date of hire.
• Experience as approved by the Superintendent or in-school apprenticeship program.

Mansioni

• Provide daily casual educational assistance to students across all BGCDSB schools.
• Support classroom activities under the supervision of teachers.
• Assist with materials, transitions, and student engagement as needed.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Completion of a post-secondary education program in:
  • Educational Support Worker, Educational Assistant Certificate, Early Childhood Education, Social Services Worker, Developmental Services Worker, Child & Youth Worker, in-school academic requirements of Educational Assistant Apprenticeship Program or equivalent and/or experience as approved by the Superintendent of Education.
• A vulnerable sector check valid within 6 months from date of hire is a condition of hire with the Board.
