Job summary

Aspira Credit River Retirement Living, part of Sienna Senior Living, is seeking a Server to support resident dining in a casual shift. You will assist with meal service, ensure a safe and pleasant dining experience, and contribute to a culture that respects residents’ dignity and well-being.

You’ll work with a team to uphold high standards of cleanliness, safety, and hospitality while engaging with residents from diverse backgrounds and stories.

Qualifications

• Smart Serve or SIRS designation and 1 year dining room service experience.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Safe Food Handling Certification preferred.
• Experience working with seniors is an asset.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada; pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospitality dining service for residents using the Ready, Set, Serve program.
• Assist with food preparation and presentation under the Chef's direction.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation per health department standards.
• Promote dining service and wine sales in line with procedures.
• Follow health and safety policies and participate in drills and training.
