Job Description

Part-time and casual positions are available based on experience in food-related industries. The availability of positions will be discussed during the in-person interview.

Reporting to the Food Service Manager, this position will perform duties as per the Dietary Aide Profile, and as a fill-in will focus mainly on duties around cooking food, including special diets.

Responsibilities include:

1. Delivery of food and supplies to households.
2. Daily dishwashing and kitchen cleaning.
3. Able to work weekends.

Qualifications

• Food service experience is an asset.
• Food Safety Course.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Active listener with a friendly, problem-solving demeanor.
• Excellent organizing, planning, prioritizing, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
• Experience in seeking information from various sources and mentoring others.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent attendance required.
