Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited degree/post diploma Ultrasound program, or recognized equivalent.
- Registered in good standing with College of Medical Radiation & Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
- Current credentialed member of Sonography Canada.
- Completion of a Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) program.

Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergency procedures in accordance with established methods as described in departmental Policies and Procedures manuals, while documenting high quality images. Including but not limited to abdominal, OB/GYN, and small parts.
- Experience in musculoskeletal, neurosonography, vascular imaging, as well as assisting in interventional procedures is an asset.
- Operate, troubleshoot and ensure ultrasound, medical imaging and ancillary equipment are performing in an effective and efficient manner.
- Prepare written and electronic reports required to document all procedures and test results.
- Ability to work all shifts including standby.
- Demonstrated commitment to be an integral part of the diagnostic imaging team to ensure smooth workflow within the department as well as between the department and other hospital departments.
