Carpenter/Painter Tradesperson

Prince Rupert School District is seeking a skilled temporary casual Carpenter/Painter Tradesperson to join our team for the summer. This role involves a mix of painting, carpentry, general maintenance, and labour duties across district facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Estimate and plan painting projects
• Install and repair drywall and wall covering
• Provide guidance to maintenance staff
• Perform general and minor building repairs
• Maintain school grounds and playing fields
• Operate district vehicles and power tools
• Work outdoors and at heights as needed
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience or equivalent training
• Valid B.C. driver’s license
• Mechanical aptitude for small engine repair
