Halton District School Board is hiring a Full Time Custodian (Caretaker) in Halton Region. The role involves afternoon shifts (3:00/3:30pm - 11:30pm/12:00am) across Acton, Burlington, Georgetown, Milton, and Oakville, with a base rate of $24.27/hour plus 4% vacation pay.
After six months of probation, employees are paid accordingly and may move to permanent status. Responsibilities include cleaning, safety compliance, and site coverage.

Work Schedule: 12 months/year, 8.5 hours/day (Monday-Friday)

The Halton Region has been growing fast and growth is projected to remain strong for the foreseeable future. The region's population is anticipated to almost double in size by 2051, from a current population of 596,637 to a projected population of 1,100,000 by 2051.
The physical ability to perform the demands of the position is required, for this reason short-listed candidates are required to complete a post-employment offer screen, as a condition of employment, to ensure they are physically fit to perform the core responsibilities of the role.
