Job summary

The Regina Exhibition Association Limited is seeking a casual Surface Operator to manage diverse playing surfaces, including ice and turf, and to assist with event setups and ongoing maintenance in our arena facilities.

This role requires Grade 12 or equivalent, willingness to work varied hours, and the ability to operate surface equipment safely. Training and certifications are assets, with a wage range of $20.56 to $20.94 per hour.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent education.
• Ice Making Lv.1 is an asset.
• Refrigeration Operator Ticket is an asset.
• Experience with ice making and sport surface maintenance is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain surface equipment for ice, turf, and hard courts.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of arena facilities and surfaces.
• Assist with event set-up and take-down; report repairs and safety issues.
