Job description

Athabasca University (AU) is currently recruiting for the position of Casual Administrative Support.

By submitting your application, please note you will be considered for opportunities outside of Athabasca, Alberta.

AU regularly hires individuals for Casual Positions that are short-term (under 3 months) or sporadic. These positions offer employment flexibility, provide an introduction to the university, and offer individuals the opportunity to develop their skills in a fast-paced, collegial environment.

The Casual Inventory is a key resource used by AU departments to shortlist potential candidates for Casual Positions.

It is your responsibility as an applicant to maintain a current profile, such as updating your resume with new skills and experience. Please contact [emailprotected] to update your file.

Your application will be maintained in the Human Resources Casual Inventory for six months. To remain a candidate for upcoming casual positions, re-apply every six months.

Qualifications :
  1. Casual Positions range from entry level to senior administrative support positions.
  2. Qualifications vary by position; a high school diploma is the minimum requirement.
  3. Post-secondary courses or certificates, previous office experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), email, strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to complete accurate work within deadlines may be required.

Please note that salary ranges may differ depending on the classification of each role.
