Details: We are looking for a number of individuals that are interested in a flexible, dynamic role, providing shift coverage for our Administrative Support positions across our different locations throughout Edmonton.

Pay Scale: $20.30 to $25.80 per hour

Location: GEF locations throughout Edmonton. (Travel between sites may be required, mileage paid)

Schedule: The weekday shifts are from 7:30AM to 3:30PM for the morning shift and from 3:30PM to 8:30PM for the evening shift. On weekends, the shift is from 9:00AM to 5:00PM.

Currently looking for individuals with open and flexible availability.

Typical Duties: General clerical, data entry and reception duties. File maintenance using Record Information Management (RIM). Processing invoices, ordering office supplies, preparing tenant rent reconciliation. Staff scheduling, adjusting timecards, organizing staff training. Responding to emergency calls, scheduling appointments, support managers and supervisors with project work and other site-specific duties as assigned.

Experience/Education Preferences:

  1. Strong English communication skills are required, both written and verbal.
  2. High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  3. Previous experience in a computerized office setting, with strong skills in Microsoft Office and Excel is required.
  4. Experience working with seniors is an asset.
Other Requirements:
  1. Must have a vehicle and valid driver's license and submit a copy of the driver's license.
  2. Strong customer service skills including the ability to interact with everyone in a respectful manner.
  3. Ability to meet deadlines and respond calmly to stressful situations.
  4. Must be able to work with minimal supervision and maintain confidentiality.
