A regional health authority is seeking a Casual Physiotherapist to join the Acute In-Patient team at Surrey Memorial Hospital. You'll conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions to ensure optimal health outcomes for patients. The ideal candidate must have current registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC and possess strong communication skills. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Provides physiotherapy assessment of the patient's physical status.
  • Implements interventions in accordance with established treatment guidelines.
  • Evaluates and documents the effectiveness of interventions.
  • Collaborates with patients and their families in developing the care plan.

Skills

Knowledge of physiotherapy theory and practice
Ability to communicate effectively

Education

Current full registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC
