Job summary

Great Canadian Entertainment in Moncton invites a Server 1 to deliver gracious food and beverage service on the gaming floor. Under supervision, you will handle guest orders, make recommendations, and maintain cleanliness and safety in line with company policies.

Requirements include a High School Diploma, 1 year server experience, NB Responsible Beverage Certification, strong time management, and the ability to work flexible hours; bilingualism is an asset.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year experience as a server or beverage host in a fast-paced environment.
• Must successfully complete NB Responsible Beverage Certification.
• Must be 19 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Exceeds guest expectations by providing outstanding customer service.
• Takes food & beverage orders from guests in a timely and accurate manner.
• Answer questions about food, beverages, and restaurant functions.
• Prepares and serves beverages as requested.
• Serves food and drinks in a timely manner.
• Provide recommendations you believe guests will enjoy.
• Maintain cleanliness by clearing dishes and glassware promptly.
• Monitor guests' dining experience and respond to requests promptly.
• Perform side work at shift start/end as assigned.
• Be knowledgeable about current food & beverage programs and services.
