Under the direction of the Front of the House Manager, Shift Supervisor, or Dual Shift Supervisor, the Hostess/Cashier is responsible for greeting and seating guests within the buffet in a timely manner. Emphasis must be placed on exceptional customer service as the Host-Hostess in many instances will be the first contact that our customers will have with an employee. The Cashier is responsible for conducting and reconciling money transactions in an accurate and timely manner. Attention to detail is required for balancing purposes at the start and end of each specified shift. All necessary precautions are required to ensure the safety and health of customers and ensure that safe work practices are adhered to at all times. Other responsibilities include assisting the Front of the House Manager, Supervisor(s), Servers, and Porters in areas when and where required. This position involves frequent standing, walking, and attention to detail during the course of the shift.
