Join a locally owned and operated store to help deliver health, beauty, and convenience services in your community, with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Why this role is important?

SUMMARY:

• Maintain excellent customer service and a clean checkout area

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

CUSTOMER SERVICE:

• Provide outstanding customer service and engage positively with all customers
• Keep the checkout area neat and organized
• Greet customers warmly
• Scan or manually enter product data accurately
• Manage cash, coupons, lottery, and PC Optimum transactions accurately
• Ask for the PC Optimum Card during each transaction

MERCHANDISING:

• Complete proper documentation for receipts and returns
• Maintain merchandising standards such as facing, signing, and labeling

LOSS PREVENTION:

• Follow loss prevention standards
• Control cash, lottery, and stamp inventory

GENERAL:

• Present a professional image according to uniform and dress code policies
• Follow health and safety regulations
• Adhere to store policies and procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and store image standards
• Perform additional duties as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong planning, judgment, and decision-making skills
• Ability to balance teamwork and efficiency
• Organized and neat
• Efficient in processing customer transactions

EXPERIENCE:

• Proficient with computers and register operations
• Organized with good record-keeping skills
• Detail-oriented
• SDM experience is a plus, especially for store opening and deposits
