Job summary

Bulk Barn Foods Limited is hiring a Store Cashier/Stock Clerk for Store #617 in Vernon, BC. You will be the front line contact with customers and play a key role in delivering a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities include handling transactions, stocking shelves, keeping the store clean and safe, and supporting busy periods with flexibility in scheduling. Prior POS or cashier experience is preferred; lifting up to 50 lbs is required.

Position Summary

A Store Cashier/Stock Clerk acts as the company’s front line contact with customers, and plays an integral role in the customer experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist customers in a manner that exceeds customer expectations
• Manage transactions and the cash register with honesty and integrity
• Stock and re-stock shelves and products
• Clean and maintain store appearance
• Maintain a healthy and safe working environment
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Job Type: Permanent, Part-time.

Schedule: Must be available to work a flexible schedule that includes early mornings, days and evenings, Monday through Sunday. Your availability must be approximately 12 to 25 hours per week.
