Job summary

Bulk Barn in Calgary is seeking a part-time Store Cashier/Stock Clerk to be on the front line with customers and support the overall shopping experience. You will handle transactions, stock shelves, and help maintain a clean and safe store environment.

This role requires a friendly attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail setting. Availability for mornings, days, and evenings across a 7-day schedule is expected.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is an asset.
• Experience with POS cash register or cashier systems preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and deliver a positive shopping experience.
• Manage transactions and operate the cash register with accuracy.
• Stock and replenish shelves as needed.
• Maintain store appearance and ensure a clean, safe environment.
• Support inventory and shelf maintenance tasks.
• Other duties as assigned by store management.

Position Summary

A Store Cashier/Stock Clerk acts as the company’s front line contact with customers, and plays an integral role in the customer experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist customers in a manner that exceeds customer expectations
• Manage transactions and the cash register with honesty and integrity
• Stock and re-stock shelves and products
• Clean and maintain store appearance
• Maintain a healthy and safe working environment
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and a pleasant disposition

• Experience in a retail environment is an asset

Job Type: Permanent, Part-time.

Schedule: Must be available to work a flexible schedule that includes early mornings, days and evenings, Monday through Sunday. Your availability must be approximately 12 to 25 hours per week.
