Main Purpose and Function
The Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation has Auxiliary seasonal opportunities for employment as a Cashier at Queen Elizabeth Pitch & Putt, Stanley Park Pitch & Putt & Rupert Park Pitch & Putt. The successful candidate must be able to work a variety of days and shifts including evenings and weekends. The Cashiers’ main responsibility will be for the delivery of exceptional customer service to our golf patrons. Cashiers at the Pitch and Putts will be responsible for club rentals, selling food and beverages, and selling tee times.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Cashiering duties include customer service, payment processing (including credit cards) and making change, and ensuring accurate cash handling procedures are followed. Pitch & Putt Cashiers will be responsible for managing the line up of golfers and ensuring all safety and cash handling procedures are followed. The hours can range from 7:00 am to 10:30 pm. The successful candidate must be able to work a variety of days and shifts including morning, afternoon, evenings and weekends. The successful candidate must be also available to work at multiple locations.
Please note that this position is an Auxiliary position which runs until October 2025, with the possibility of extension.
