Goodness-Me in Burlington, Canada, is seeking a reliable cashier/Keyholder/MOD for a hybrid role combining frontline sales with store leadership responsibilities. You will greet customers, process transactions, and ensure accurate pricing while delivering friendly, efficient service.

As a Keyholder/MOD, you will help run the store in the absence of management, resolve issues, complete closing tasks, log temperature and cleaning records, and assist with deposits.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers when entering or leaving the store and handle transactions.
• Scan goods and ensure pricing accuracy using the POS system.
• Assist with merchandise returns and exchanges.
• Support store operations as a Keyholder/MOD in absence of management.
• Resolve customer complaints and complete the Manager on Duty checklist.
• Log temperature checks and ensure cleaning logs are followed.
• Oversee end-of-day deposits and closing duties.

Job description

Your day-to-day:

This is a hybrid role – you will perform shifts and a cashier and you will perform shifts as a Keyholder/MOD. As a cashier, you will be the first and last contact for customers entering and exiting the store. Your role is to be friendly, helpful and efficient, ensuring that each customer has a positive and memorable experience. Other tasks and duties you may perform include:

• Greet customers when entering or leaving the store


• Manage transactions with customers using out POS system


• Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate


• Handle merchandise returns and exchanges

As a Keyholder/MOD, your role is to ensure that store operations run smoothly in the absence of a store manager or assistant manager. Additional duties may include but are not limited to:

• Resolve customer complaints


• Complete Manager on Duty check list


• Check and log temperature checks


• Ensure that all cleaning logs are being followed


• Cash employees off at the end of their shift


• Support employees with questions or problems that arise


• Make end of day deposits


• Completing end of night closing lists


• Responsible for locking up and setting alarm


• Other duties as assigned
