Job summary

Giant Tiger in Kingston, Ontario is seeking a part-time Cashier to provide friendly, efficient service at the checkout, manage transactions across cash registers and SCOs, and restock merchandise around the till. You will follow health and safety rules, maintain a clean work area, and support loss prevention efforts.

Responsibilities

• Ensures a high level of customer service at the checkouts.
• Accurately records customer transactions in electronic cash register, mainline and self checkouts (SCOs).
• Replenish merchandise around the checkout area.
• Ensuring health and safety policies and guidelines are followed.
• Ensuring the checkout work area is kept clean and organized.
• Ensuring Loss prevention best practices are followed.
• Ensuring compliance of all policies when selling Tobacco and Lottery.
