Responsibilities

• Processes all purchase transactions at the register, including deactivation of merchandise per EAS program.
• Promotes Walmart sponsor programs such as credit cards, product protection, and charity initiatives.
• Assists customers with bagging and loading of merchandise.
• Follows safe work practices and keeps a clean work area.
• Maintains register security and cash handling integrity per company policies.
• Escorts customers to appropriate service areas or refers to Customer Service Manager when needed.
