CASHIER

Position Summary

Working as a Cashier at Walmart Canada is a great way to develop your skills in the retail industry. What you'll do

1. Greet all customers in a polite and friendly manner.
2. Process all purchase transactions efficiently, including deactivating merchandise with respect to the EAS Program.
3. Promote company-sponsored programs, such as credit card services, product protection, and charity initiatives.
4. Assist customers with bagging and loading merchandise.
5. Follow safe work practices, including proper lifting and maintaining a clean work area.
6. Maintain register security and integrity through diligent cash handling, adherence to company policies, and awareness of surroundings.
7. Refer service and transactional issues to a Customer Service Manager as needed.

The starting pay rate for this position is $17.55 per hour, with the rate determined by relevant experience.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must be at least 16 years old.
