Join a locally owned and operated store to help deliver health, beauty, and convenience services in your community, keeping the customer at the centre of everything you do.

Summary:

• Maintain excellent customer service and checkout area

Duties & Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

• Provide excellent customer service and positively engage with all customers
• Maintain a neat and organized checkout area
• Greet all customers with a warm demeanor
• Accurately scan or enter product data
• Handle cash, coupons, lottery, and PC Optimum transactions accurately
• Ask for the customer’s PC Optimum Card during each transaction

Merchandising:

• Ensure proper documentation for receipts and return of goods
• Merchandise and maintain designated areas (facing, signing, labeling, etc.)

Loss Prevention:

• Follow loss prevention standards
• Control cash, lottery, and stamp inventory

General:

• Present a professional image according to Uniform Policy and Dress Code Guidelines
• Comply with all health, safety, store policies, and procedures
• Maintain standards of housekeeping and store image
• Perform other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Planning, judgment, and decision-making skills
• Ability to balance teamwork and efficiency

• Efficiency in processing customer orders

Experience:

• Strong computer and register skills

Compensation:

Hiring Range / Échelle salariale à l’embauche: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour. Compensation may vary based on experience, knowledge, and geographic location.
