SUMMARY:

• Maintain excellent customer service and a well-organized checkout area

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

CUSTOMER SERVICE:

• Provide excellent customer service and positively engage with all customers
• Greet customers warmly and maintain a neat checkout area
• Accurately scan or enter product data
• Manage cash, coupons, lottery, and PC Optimum transactions accurately
• Request PC Optimum Card from customers during each transaction

MERCHANDISING:

• Complete proper documentation for receipts and returns
• Maintain designated merchandising areas (facing, signing, labeling, etc.)

LOSS PREVENTION:

• Follow loss prevention standards
• Control cash, lottery, and stamp inventory

GENERAL:

• Present a professional image according to Uniform Policy and Dress Code
• Follow all health and safety regulations
• Adhere to store policies and procedures
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and store image
• Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Good planning, judgment, and decision-making skills
• Ability to balance teamwork and efficiency
• Organized and neat
• Efficient in processing customer transactions

EXPERIENCE:

• Strong computer and register skills
• Well-organized with good record-keeping abilities
• Detail-oriented
