Summary:

• Maintain excellent customer service and a tidy checkout area

Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

• Provide outstanding customer service and engage positively with customers
• Keep the checkout area neat and organized
• Greet customers warmly and professionally
• Scan or manually enter product data accurately
• Handle cash, coupons, lottery tickets, and PC Optimum points accurately
• Request PC Optimum Card from customers during transactions

Merchandising:

• Complete documentation for receipts and returns
• Maintain designated merchandising areas (facing, signing, labeling, etc.)

Loss Prevention:

• Follow loss prevention standards
• Manage cash, lottery, and stamp inventories

General:

• Present a professional image according to dress code and uniform policy
• Follow all health and safety regulations
• Adhere to store policies and procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and store appearance standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Good judgment, decision-making skills, and planning abilities
• Ability to work as part of a team while maintaining efficiency
• Organized and detail-oriented

Experience:

• Strong computer and register handling skills
• Well-organized with good record-keeping abilities
• Detail-oriented approach
