Job Title: Cashier

Location: Gibsons, British Columbia

Job Type: Part-Time

Job Summary: Responsible for all general duties as directed by the department manager. The cashier must have a strong commitment to customer service, helping where needed. All applicants must be able to legally work in Canada. We are looking for someone to fill extra shifts based on varying business needs, and the successful candidate must be able to work evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Understand cash register functions and maintain accurate cash control
2. Identify all items in the produce and bakery departments
3. Greet customers and offer assistance
4. Pack groceries
5. Stock and face shelves, managing signage where required
6. Clean checkout area
7. Maintain a positive, flexible and service-oriented attitude
8. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
9. Additional tasks and duties as required
