Job summary

RONA in Nova Scotia is hiring for a front-line store associate. You will greet customers, process transactions accurately, and maintain clean checkout areas while supporting team goals.

We value excellent customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to stand for long periods and work outdoors when needed. Experience with cash registers is an asset, and accommodation can be provided for interviews.

• Able to resolve a variety of issues quickly and efficiently.
• Comfortable standing for long periods and occasional outdoor work.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage with customers in a courteous manner.
• Process transactions precisely and accurately.
• Keep all checkout work stations clean and uncluttered.
• Create and balance the cash report at the end of each shift.
• Ensure compliance with the company’s policies and procedures regarding loss prevention as well as health and safety.
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly.
