Job summary

RONA is seeking team members to join store administration and front-line roles. You will greet customers, process transactions, and help keep checkout areas orderly while balancing cash at shift end. You’ll follow loss prevention and health & safety policies and contribute to a smooth-running store environment.

The role emphasizes excellent service, attention to detail, and the ability to handle outdoor duties as part of daily operations in a busy retail setting.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to resolve a variety of issues quickly and efficiently.
• Attention to detail.
• Comfortable working on your feet for long periods, and occasionally working outdoors.
• Experience with cash register systems an asset.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage with customers in a courteous manner.
• Process transactions precisely and accurately.
• Keep all checkout work stations clean and uncluttered.
• Create and balance the cash report at the end of each shift.
• Ensure compliance with the company’s policies and procedures regarding loss prevention as well as health and safety.
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly.
