The McMurray Group owns and operates A&W Restaurants across Western Canada and is hiring a friendly Cashier in Edmonton. In this permanent full-time role, you’ll welcome guests, take orders, and process payments, helping create a fast, welcoming experience.

You’ll enjoy flexible shifts, wage increases through training, and a supportive team environment that encourages growth into leadership roles. This position fits around school, sports, or other commitments.

Location: 470 Riverbend Square, Edmonton, AB

Job Type: Permanent Full-time

Shifts: Days, Evenings, Weekends

Hours Per Week: Up to 40

Language: English

Wage: $16 per hour

Duties & Responsibilities

Guest Service & Cash Handling

• Take orders and handle payments using our POS system
• Greet guests and answer menu questions
• Ensure every order is accurate and delivered with a smile

Food Service Support

• Assist teammates with preparing and serving food and drinks
• Help keep service running smoothly during busy periods

Cleanliness & Operations

• Restock fridges, cupboards, and workstations
• Keep dining areas clean, organized, and guest‑ready
• Assist with dining room, restroom, and exterior cleanliness to maintain a positive guest experience
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards

Teamwork

• Support your team and contribute to a positive work environment
• Jump in where needed to help the shift run smoothly
