Nature's Fare Markets in Chilliwack BC is seeking Bistro Team Members to help deliver our holistic wellness and top-tier customer experience. In our Bistro, we craft delicious food from organic, local ingredients and offer diverse options for vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and paleo diets.

You'll greet customers, answer questions, help stock displays, learn new products through our flyers, and work with a friendly team to create an inviting, safe dining area with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in a vibrant customer service environment.
• Ability to engage with customers and understand needs.
• Willingness to learn about products and promotions.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail setting.

Responsabilités

• Give a warm welcome to customers entering the department.
• Assist customers with product questions and make recommendations.
• Stock displays and keep areas tidy and accessible.
• Create attractive, organized product displays with attention to detail.
• Learn about new and featured products and promotions from Nature's Fare flyers.
• Be a supportive team member, safety-conscious, and have fun.

BISTRO TEAM MEMBER

We are seeking team members who share our passion for holistic wellness and top tier customer experience to join Nature's Fare Markets in our new Chilliwack location! In our Bistro, we are passionately creating delicious food made with carefully chosen organic, local sustainable ingredients: fresh produce, ethically raised and grass-fed meat and dairy, and products without additives or preservatives. Our customers love our fresh juices and smoothies, gourmet sandwiches and wraps, salads, hearty soups, entrées and an array of baked goods. And, of course, we offer tasty options for a variety of food preferences including vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and paleo diets.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Give a warm "hello!" to our customers as they enter the department - we like building connections with our new and regular customers and sharing a laugh along the way.
• Assist customers with questions they may have about products we and give suggestions based on their needs (don't worry, we will train you on this!)
• Work with your team to stock displays throughout the day so it is easily accessible for customers when they need it.
• Use your creativity and eye for detail to make attractive and organized displays.
• Learn about new products and featured products that are on sale through Nature's Fare's flyers and magazines.
• In other words, you will help others, share your knowledge on our amazing products, be safe, be a great team player and have fun!

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• You are service minded with experience working in a vibrant customer service environment.
• Passionate about food and sharing your favourite "go-to" items
• You are flexible and seamlessly help make the workflow happen.
• You are confident and friendly in approaching and talking to people.
• Open to learning new things.
• Like to have fun!
• Food Safe I Certified is a plus, but not needed in order to apply.

The successful candidates will be available to work AM/PM, weekdays and weekends up to 24 hours per week.
