RONA in Calgary is seeking a store associate to deliver outstanding customer service and accurate cash handling at the front end. You will greet customers, process transactions, balance cash at shift end, and keep the checkout area organized for a seamless shopping experience.

The role requires standing for long periods and may involve outdoor work. Experience with cash registers is an asset; strong communication, attention to detail, and teamwork are essential for success at RONA.

Your role:

• Greet and engage with customers in a courteous manner
• Process transactions precisely and accurately
• Keep all checkout work stations clean and uncluttered
• Create and balance the cash report at the end of each shift
• Ensure compliance with the company’s policies and procedures regarding loss prevention as well as health and safety
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly
