Join a locally owned and operated store to help deliver health, beauty, and convenience services in your community, keeping the customer at the center of everything you do.

Why this role is important?

Summary:

• Maintain excellent customer service and a clean checkout area.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

• Provide excellent customer service and positively engage with all customers.
• Maintain a neat and organized checkout area.
• Greet all customers with a warm demeanor.
• Accurately scan or enter product data.
• Handle cash, coupons, lottery, and PC Optimum transactions accurately.
• Ask for the customer’s PC Optimum Card during each transaction.

Merchandising:

• Ensure proper documentation for receipts and return of goods.
• Maintain and merchandize designated areas (facing, signing, labeling, etc.).

Loss Prevention:

• Follow loss prevention standards.
• Control cash, lottery, and stamp inventory.

General:

• Present a professional image according to uniform policy and dress code.
• Comply with health and safety regulations.
• Adhere to store policies and procedures.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and store image.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Strong planning, judgment, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to balance teamwork and efficiency.
• Organized and neat.
• Efficient in processing customer transactions.

Experience:

• Strong computer and register skills.
• Well organized with good record-keeping abilities.
• Detail-oriented.
