Job summary

RONA Inc. in Longueuil, QC invites you to join our store administration team as a cashier and customer service representative.

In this role you will greet customers, process transactions accurately, and help keep the checkout area organized and welcoming. You will balance cash reports, ensure compliance with loss prevention and health and safety policies, and support daily store operations to guarantee a positive shopping experience for customers and contractors.

Qualifications

• Experience with cash register systems an asset.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Willing to work outdoors occasionally.

Responsibilities

Your role:

• Greet and engage with customers in a courteous manner
• Process transactions precisely and accurately
• Keep all checkout work stations clean and uncluttered
• Create and balance the cash report at the end of each shift
• Ensure compliance with the company’s policies and procedures regarding loss prevention as well as health and safety
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

What we're looking for:

• Ability to resolve a variety of issues quickly and efficiently
• Comfortable working on your feet for long periods, and occasionally working outdoors
• Experience with cash register systems an asset
