Job summary

RONA in Montérégie, QC is hiring for a store cashier role. You will greet customers, process transactions, and maintain a tidy checkout area while delivering friendly service in a bustling home improvement environment.

This position emphasizes accuracy, loss-prevention awareness, and teamwork. The successful candidate can stand for long periods and may work outdoors when needed; prior cash register experience is an asset.

Your role:

• Greet and engage with customers in a courteous manner
• Process transactions precisely and accurately
• Keep all checkout work stations clean and uncluttered
• Create and balance the cash report at the end of each shift
• Ensure compliance with the company’s policies and procedures regarding loss prevention as well as health and safety
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

What we're looking for:

• Ability to resolve a variety of issues quickly and efficiently
• Comfortable working on your feet for long periods, and occasionally working outdoors
• Experience with cash register systems an asset
