Job summary

Brink's Ottawa is seeking a Money Room Clerk to handle cash and check processing in a secure, armed environment. You will follow procedures to protect people, premises and assets while delivering reliable service.

Responsibilities include processing deposits, bank shipments, cash orders, ATM replenishments, and balancing ATM residuals. The ideal candidate is accurate, detail‑oriented and comfortable with Excel and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Willing to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• High degree of manual dexterity.
• Intermediate computer skills; Excel is an asset.
• Strong teamwork and personal initiative.

About the job Position Overview

The Money Room Clerk is responsible for cash and check processing. This position functions in an armed environment. This position requires the enforcement of rules to protect the premises and property of Brink's and its customers, as well as the safety of persons on the premises of Brink's and its customers. • Processing commercial cash, cheque deposits, and coins
• Processing inbound and outbound bank shipments
• Preparing cash orders for commercial bank customers
• Preparing ATM replenishments
• Processing and balancing inbound ATM residual

Qualifications

• Able to work flexible shifts throughout the week, weekend & holidays if required

• Possesses strong mathematical skills
