Job summary

Athabasca Tribal Council in Alberta seeks a qualified social worker for delegated case management, including intake, assessment and permanency planning under the Child, Youth and Family Enhancement Act. The role emphasizes teamwork with Indigenous communities to create safety and permanency plans for children.

You will attend court as required, ensure timely online data entry, and be available for after-hours or on-call responses. Evening and weekend availability may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Social Work or related degree with a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
• Social Work Diploma or related diploma with a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
• Currently delegated or the ability to be delegated in the province of Alberta.
• Experience working with Indigenous communities is considered an asset.
