  • Must provide and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector Search
  • Must provide and maintain a satisfactory Child and Adult Abuse Registry Check
Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Experience working with individuals with mental illness, dementia, or intellectual disabilities
  • Experience interpreting policies, procedures, or legislation
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for engaging with stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Financial skills including budget and financial document preparation
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

Desired:

  • Experience assisting clients with financial or property management
  • Supervisory experience
  • Case Management experience
Duties:

The Case Manager manages a caseload involving clients appointed under The Mental Health Act or The Adults Living with an Intellectual Disability Act. Responsibilities include making complex decisions about personal care, medical treatment, and managing client property and finances, including developing budgets and responding to funding requests. The role requires independent work in accordance with policies, procedures, and legislation, with strong time management skills to handle multiple clients and demands.
